From data acquisition to installation decisions.
Ground risk management
The thread through everything we do. We define the ground risk strategy early, keep it live as a project register through consent and FID, and carry it into construction so risk is managed continuously rather than rediscovered offshore.
Risk strategy and pathway · constructability appraisal · geo-risk registers · consent and EIA input
Survey design and interpretation
Data is only useful if it answers the questions the project actually faces. We scope survey campaigns around the decisions they need to support, manage them through procurement and offshore delivery, then integrate the results into interpretation you can rely on.
Preliminary and detailed survey design · procurement and campaign management · QA/QC · data visualisation with Python · interpretation development and appraisal · interpretative reporting
Installation assessment
Ground risk becomes cost at installation. We assess whether the selected foundation, anchor or cable installation solution can be installed in the ground anticipated at your site: at concept, through FEED, in detail before FID, and in real time when the vessel is on site.
Foundation and anchor concept selection · foundation installation/driveability assessment · jack-up leg penetration risk assessment · CBRA and burial assessments · real-time construction support · installation back-analysis
Commercial and contract support
Where most geoscience consultancies stop at the interpretative report, we translate ground understanding into commercial decisions because we have sat on the client side ourselves.
CAPEX development and refinement · auction support · supply chain engagement · T&I and design Employer's Requirements · contract risk and claims support · technical due diligence and benchmarking
